Louise sent me a tube of Vegemite and (are you ready, Larry?) I like it! Had some on a piece of whole wheat toast this morning with some "Olivio" spread and it was yummy! Sort of like a buttery Guinness on toast! Thank you, Louise! I owe ya one!

I'll drink Fosters, eat Vegemite and I can play the didgeridoo a bit. I think I'd be okay if I was ever to go to Oz!

I just found out from a Brit friend of mine that the Shaw's supermarket in Canton has Mar-mite

Oh Zap. :( The first part of the cure is to admit you have a problem. You are on the right road brother. There are bound to be some 12 step programs in the nutmeg state for vegemite abusers, check your local yellow pages. By the way, a vegemite abuser is anyone who tries it more than once.

I have to state now that in the 70s, when I was a vegetarian, I used both Vegemite and Marmite as flavorings for veggies stews and soups and I and others thought they were very tasty!

Some people, like Zap and Shel, just have good taste!
But I have to say that I feel about Marmite the way Larry feels about Vegemite and in fact my favourite is Promite.

I though marmite was a little critter in the lemur family.

My house plants like horseshit, so I suppose that means they would like vegemite too?
