This is gonna be one very soggy conGRADuation party for my son tomorrow!

My water got turned off so I ordered nature's shower from the upper air capacity....how refreshing after a hot sweaty day but it won't be refreshing when God sends me the water bill


Maybe there will be a break in the clouds tomorrow just do a little chant "NO RAIN NO RAIN NO RAIN NO RAIN NO RAIN" and provide entertainment by dancing and banging the beer and soda cans and heavenly singing so God can hear you...sound familar? Did you see Woodstock?

Arnie, while I really do not like rain (or snow), we need it desperately! It does rain (a lot) on the "east side" but for those of us on the "west side" we barely get but a drizzle every few weeks.

Congratulations for your Son Arnie, if it make you feel any better our Summer only lasted two weeks, it's been like November for the past week.

well the conGRADuation went off as (unfortunately) expected, indoors in the gym for the first time in over 10 years... almost 900 people inside a gym with the humidity risin' as fast as the temperature of the kids sittin' there in their caps & gowns... but as the sweat rolled down our backs, noone complained, 'cause they were all our kids, ya know? (we all had such nachas! )

and then the party which was supposed to be outdoors also moved indoors, except for dad, who bravely stood over his grill and worked his magic to feed the hordes, and evidently at the same time, moved the rains westward at the same time... allowing the turkey burgers to come off the grill without a bath...

all in all, a damp but delightful day!

And agnes, imagine MY surprise to suddenly realize that my little guy (okay, so he never was really 'little'!) is movin' onto college!

and silly front-half - you never heard of SON-showers????

Arnie, congratulations on your son's graduation. That must be an awesome, great feeling! I can't imagine how proud/happy/relieved a parent must feel, to reach that day.
