Love that Castaways song. I had the 45 of it. That is neat how the Gilligans Island girls danced to it. Fits it so well. :)

Song is from 1972 ,great song ,the video was done in 1989 very bad video .I believe they could have done so much more for a video for that song .

just got in and am a wee bit tired (a good tired though) but anyway, i enjoyed all the clips on some level or other but as for your second post, i think i understand why you might prefer the second video over the first, i got something out of both, but me thinks the second one maybe connects to the heart and soul of the song a little more, at least from one person's music and cultural perspective? (not really sure what the song writer's angle was entirely) ? but the video gives an interesting perspective. (the buddy holly theme does seem consistent though)

wonder why they keep referring to bobert as the jester? was it cuz he says he is a song and dance man? (honest question, i don't know)

anyways, sorry if i am babbling, i's tired and just saying stuff....hello all.

I'm a wee bit tired myself. Going to listen to the clips tomorrow. My daughter and I had a party for my grandson's 7yr old cousin. There were at least 50 people. A few more than expected, lol. But it was fun and the birthday boy was beaming.

in my confusion, that skit was perfect.

(the video in the link didn't work for me (that is not to say that it doesn't work in most cases) but i found the title on you tube, two different episodes but using the same skit)
