Dear Cheryl,

What should we do when a vital post includes pottymouth? Our own post, and there is no way to avoid the pottymouth? Will the Clam forgive "us"?

Please answer; it is a timely question.

Wondering

dear cheryl...

what exactly is pottymouth? can you give lucid examples?? is it anything like hoof and mouth? How about the mouth of a river??? If you are a motor-mouth, where do you stick the batteries?????

Why does havin' a birthday make you a little bit bolder, and a lot more stoopider???

These are important questions, and as such I expect your direct ignorance of them!

thank you.

I gues the batteries would be stuck in the mouth. Whay is pottymouth to some might not be thought of as pottymouth to others but I think it'd be off colored stuff. Hopefully the clam will forgive you. He does tend to eat people in blunderchat alot tho...

Dear Cheryl,

While in the food store today, waiting at the checkout stand, I noticed this weeks Star Weekly, and the front page had a picture of a fat hairy convict, and the story read "DEAR CHERYL LETTERS ANSWERED BY CONVICTS" if this story is true, what prison are you in? and is Mike your cell mate? if so, which of you two is the bitch?

PS you look goos in stripes....

Dear Cheryl, or 987521 as you are known in the big house.

I was sure that anything in the Star weekly would be true, but tell why doesn't the New York Times ever get these great stories?

Also, I still wanted to know which was the lady in your relationship, or is this one of those co-ed prisons?

Noe Mike & I aren't in Prison. Those apaper make up all sorts of rumors. The reason they get those stories instead of the NY Times is they are more inventive than the NY Times...

I think they flee whenever anyone else comes on no matter who it is.

Not ignoring your question on the record thing. Just not sure of the answer...

Dear Cheryl,

The question regarding the larger hole on the 45RPM records must have come from the USA as in Brition, the 45's have the same size hole as our 33 1/3 RPM records. In fact in order to place our 45's, on machines using the larger spindle, we have to "dink" the records or enlarge the holes.

this information might also help:
The 45 rpm speed was the only one to be decided by a precise optimization procedure (by RCA Victor in 1948). Calculus was used to show that the optimum use of a disc record of constant rotational speed occurs when the innermost recorded diameter is half the outermost recorded diameter. That's why a 7-inch single has a label 3 1/2 inches in diameter. Given the CBS vinyl groove dimensions and certain assumptions about the bandwidth and tolerable distortion, a speed of 45 rpm comes out of the formula.

I hope I am not going out of bounds answering your question like this, but it was so darn interesting.
