now that it is nearly summer's solstice...
i remember hearing about japan's penis and vagina festivals here (generally a spring festival? hey, i love spring! and have been enjoying it day by day) i'd never heard of it (the penis and vagina festival)....but i am one of those people who doesn't mind talking about some of the feelings and emotions etc involved in such things (not to the exclusion of all else of course) and not be condescending toward either gender....to try and understand? taboo-ism (on the subject) doesn't work.
i know in some instances....males may have thoughts (and i have observed in religions (as an example) a preponderance of this philosophy)...that they will then demonize the female for their having such thoughts! or perhaps in some way beat up on themselves for it! (not everyone reacts that way....but some most certainly do!) i don't think that is a healthy social, emotional, or psychological state of mind. and hey! males are not the only ones to have thoughts!
i suppose as humans we will figure it out....but please, enough of the weird animosity!
