That was quite Sarah 'N Dipitous, Beverly....many things Nathen mentions are not that....ummm...how shall we say.... tangible & findable, you haven't heard him pontificate yet, on Ginseng roots.... or, his dearly departed girlfriend, though her descendents are available at your local Abecronbie & Fitch store, I believe...
Mangos

p.s. the new MINI, in gold body, black roof, has arrived, at Ft Laud MINI dealer, saving my shekels, as we speak. Dealer now says the Cabriolet won't be available till late '04

It would seem that "Hair" is showing up everywhere, except maybe for that one spot on the top of my head.

Beware of Bumper, he lives in Florida, sleeps on the beach and smokes that wacky weed, drinks gin and lets the sun fry his brain. A true story concerning Bumper and why he is so involved with the Austin Mini.
As a young lad he first saw a Mini parked beside the road in California, his friends told him it was an inflatable car and it had a leak, but if he would only blow on the tail pipe it would again return to the size of a big car, well he tried it and while it did not work, that time, he is never one to give up, so for years now, you can see Bumper trying to inflate the Mini where ever he finds one.

Wyldflower, I would enjoy going with you and HomerJ to see "Hair" however I understand they dance around nude and I just might get jealous, so I better pass, this time.

I am sorry to hear that you are going bald Nathen, but if the old saying is true, and you keep up your 'Peace Keeping Efforts' you could shave it off your palms and stick it on your bald patch?
And Bummper there is nothing wrong about lying in the sun all day smoking pot, I very clearly don't recall one Summer quite fondly through doing that very thing.

A friend of mine just bought a mini cooper. I sat in the driver's seat of this thing, and it seemed to have more room than my big 'ole chevy tahoe suv. I told my friend that I think that his car my have been made with technology that does not exist yet. I'm thinking some kinda star trek holodeck kinda thing. this little car seemed twice as big on the inside.

We the British have a great knack of exporting Little run-abouts with plenty of empty space on the inside, our politicians are anouther great example of this.

They were everywhere in the city the other day. Very cute cars.

Edited to say I meant NYC.

Edited again to say that I explained because Deb says that us downstaters say "the city" like NY is the only city. That's not exactly how we mean it. It's like saying you're going into town if you live out in the country, but I can see where it would sound that way. Point of not very interesting fact: People living on Long Island (which we tend to call "the Island") will say they're going into the city if they're going to any borough. People in Queens and Brooklyn, which are part of NYC say they're going into the city if they're going to Manhattan

Bev, LOL! Aren't they all that way!

Pat, thank you for being so PC for those of us who live in the hinterlands, but we know what you mean when you say 'the City.' It's okay--we're used to youse guys being a bit provincial.

My dog can eat twice his body weight any day and not expand an inch, perhaps it's that secret that they use on the mini....

Is there any city besides New York? really how could anyone have thought otherwise?

What do they say in Britian when they speak of London?

Well Ok maybe that is a bit harsh, but it was late and I was half sloshed and was on my way to bed. Manchester isn't exactly a Rose sented place to live, each as every-where has their own quallitys and blemishes.

By the way Nathen have you grown enough yet to cover your patch?

Am I being too objective?
I took it upon myself to read something with an openly objective mind, only to find that I found the first parragraph contradicting objetivey. Someone is of the opinion that "Objectivety is something to be strived for but rarely (if ever) achieved." I Know they are of this opinion because they wrote it, I know this because I read it.
But Objectivety isn't something that one can 'strive' to acheive, if so it would be a target, something that is headed for and not something 'aside of'. 'Aside of' being objectivity? Am I right? wronge?
Not wanting to be Obliviouly Objective, I gave it some thought and find I am still in confusion, can anyone help clarify.

Of course if the person who wrote this was being selectively oblivious when they wrote it, one could say that the rarity of objectivity exemplifies the "exception that proves the rule"... therefore they would be inferring that even objectivity is selectively oblivious, since one can only be objective about those things selected for contemplation, and one can be oblivious to all other options, yet maintaining objectivity about that one thing. This is the essence of the selectivity aspect of selective obliviousity.

... or something like that...
... ... or not!

to be objective one must be outside of themselves, void of the ego, to be truly objestive one could drop lots of acid or slam their private parts with the lid of their toilet, either way, one does become very objestive regarding taking advise from some half baked wit from the sticks.
