Looks like we survived. It was quite scary at times. We had better have a Prez. who will listen to the pain of this Land's People. Because from things I hear there and here, they are about ready to erupt.

He's issuing pardons like crazy today, his last day. Trouble is, the people of this country will NEVER pardon him for the last 8 years. Since he's only 62, there's a good chance he'll live long enough to get history's verdict on his administration, like he wants. I don't think the jury will be out long, though!

With the end of an error comes wonderful changes in thinking and how the country will be run.
* No longer will surgery be performed using a chainsaw as a scalpal(metaphorically speaking)
*No longer will the concept of " A member of your elite ruling family pissed off a member of our elite ruling family, so I'm gunna have the people of my country kill the people of your country" apply.
*Having replaced the eagle as the symbol of our country the last 8 years, the dodo bird shall be retired and the eagle reinstated.
*Missions shall no longer be deemed "accomplished" until they are both defined and truley accomplished.
*Oh damn.......this is a big list and I ain't got the time.
But I'd welcome additions from other sentient beings( George W. Bush need not apply)

No longer will bills be signed into law with a bullshit memorandum attached saying, in so many words, "this may be the law of the land, but it doesn't apply to me because I'm bigger than any law." :!:

A lesson learned over the past 8 years:

"Don't ever show up for a battle of wits unarmed".

no no no, we must tell Omama what we want. No more we the corporations have bought and paid for this country with we the people's money. If we don't demand we the people get a break or 2, 8 years from now we will be saying the same thing.

Simple compassion can work it out. Don't throw people out of their homes after they lost a job. I could go into details of the high cost of that if you want. BUT I would rather not!

Starting Wednesday, I will do just that, Leo. To achieve the Patriots' Dream, true patriots must always hold the government's feet to the fire. But right now and for the next day and a half, it's time to celebrate, purely and unabashedly--just celebrate!

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!12 HOURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sweet dreams, all!

Cheryl, Cheryl, Cheryl ... I'm guessing you didn't win the Spelling Bee as a kid. That's spelled Obama Nation. You have eight years to get that right. (With love, but for just one day, please don't try to rain on my parade.)
