I beg your pardon, I may not be The Answer Lady Cheryl, but I used to be the Deli Llama and Mrs. Howell was not too old. I know this because I am probably now the age she was then and I am not too old and never will be. She is not included in the Ginger/Mary Ann debate because she was married and therefore not available. Perhaps in a more enlightened society she would be included, and in an even more enlightened society she would be first choice. Like I would be. In a more enlightened society. But I am not bitter.
Dammit.

You're right. I had forgotten Mrs. Howell was married & was thinking about her being older than Ginger or Maryanne. I've enjoyeed GILLIANS ISLAND ever since it first came on tv...

Dear Cheryl,

Why is it November already?

Why don't we get 6 months' interest on the hour they take away from us in April? (At today's rates, we wouldn't get much, but if invested at 1.5 percent, we should have gotten 7.8 extra minutes when they gave the hour back.)

Your always astute answers are appreciated.

Sincerely,

Temporally Challenged

*Between the Fentanyl, the Cafeine, & Codeine, it urinates me, to think about the answers to such simple questions? Now back to the Caffeine, (and in search of one serious spelling lesson). It takes disipline after not drinking, & smoking.

HAS anyone noticed it's cold outside???...

Dear Cheryl:

I have been engaged for almost a year. I am to be married next month. My fiancée's mother is not only very attractive but really great and understanding. She is putting the entire wedding together and invited me to her place to go over the invitation list because it had grown a bit beyond what we had expected it to be.

When I got to her place we reviewed the list and trimmed it down to just under a hundred... then she floored me. She said that in a month I would be a married man and that before that happened, she wanted to have sex with me. Then she just stood up and walked to her bedroom and on her way said that I knew where the front door was if I wanted to leave. I stood there for about five minutes and finally decided that I knew exactly how to deal with this situation. I headed straight out the front door.

There, leaning against my car was her husband, my father-in-law to be. He was smiling. He explained that they just wanted to be sure I was a good kid and would be true to their little girl. I shook his hand and he congratulated me on passing their "little test."

Cheryl, should I tell my fiancée what her parents did, and that I thought their "little test" was asinine and insulting to my character? Or should I keep the whole thing to myself including the fact that the reason I was walking out to my car was to get a condom?

Signed: Confused and in love!!
