while i am at it

i thought it was interesting to learn that shane wrote the lyrics to this song (as i understand it, shane wrote the lyrics and jonsi the music?) i was wondering how he was doing these days and learn about it.

I'm Czechoslovakian on my dad's size of the family. I came across on YouTube some videos of 60's rock from Czechoslovakia. It was pretty neat and interesting seeing them. Had my grandparents not imigrated here I could've been born over there. Who knows? What is so neato about these is that they had music videos back then. They may have been b&w but they were still pretty high tech for that time.

In this one it shows how people loved and lived there back then. Pretty interesting.

This one is pretty but had some weird anatomically correct statues in it:

This one has some interesting snow scenes in it. I am guessing they have alot of snow up there.

This one reminds me of early Kinks:

Apparently the religious song Exodus made it over the too somehow:

Looks like Elvis song Trouble made it over there too:

This ones a real hoot. Someone doing the old 40's song Hey Bob, Bob a Re Bob in Czech. And rockabilly style:

Very interesting. I especially liked the snow video. Reminded me of the zany antics in the Beatles films. The last one was a hoot. I think the people all over the world as basically the same.

My grandparents immagrated from Romania just before the war. I don't know much more than and even less about Romania.

Thank you. I enjoyed the clips and the musical introduction to Czechoslovakia.
