Although it isn't fair to my sweet little Epiphone, my Guild D44 is my favorite. Drawn to her wonderful rich voice, bought her 2nd hand in the mid 70's. Worked an entire summer to earn the money. Considered selling a few years back when I realized I no longer had the strength or dexterity to do her justice, but just couldn't. Recently my husband mentioned that the two things he most remembered about me back then were those bib overalls I always wore and this guitar. She still sounds great. And, playing the Epiphone is a breeze after playing the Guild. Thanks for encouraging this bit of nostalgia.

The tenth finger supports the chanter as you play. You could probaly hold the sheet music with that finger as well though most pipers play the tunes from memory...
