From this weekend's calendar page:

"Released tapes prove that Enron, which was Bush's top career patron until 2004 and among his top donors in the 2000 election, was responsible for the rolling blackouts in California as part of a price-gouging scheme."--The New York Times, February 3, 2005

From today's page:

"You work three jobs? ... Uniquely American, isn't it? I mean, that is fantastic that you're doing that."--Omaha, Nebraska, February 4, 2005, to a single mother of three

Maybe Bush will take a 364 day vacation before he can do any more damage. He's already taken more vacations than any president in history. Has anyone else noticed that the news commentors call him Bush, or Mr. Bush rather than Mr. President or President Bush?? This is the first time I ever noticed that happening with any president or former president.

I'll go on record as fully supporting Bush..................vacations!

Today, the Whitehouse confirmed that waterboarding did in fact take place. But they say it's not torture, because then they could be held accountable for war crimes. I wonder if you could use it to find out about 935 lies that led to war?

Its not impeachment I long for, though that would be a start. Since the U.N. has declared the Iraq invasion illegal. I'll just have to wait on them to throw Bush, Cheney and Blair in jail. Then say to the terrorist, "Who else do you want in jail, for you to stop the killing?"

Just like Arlo's re-consecration of the church ... I'm thinking along the lines of a re-Constitution shindig when Bush and the Dick finally leave the 8-year party they've been having at the expense of our sanity among other things. I think we'll be putting the document's pieces they've shredded in a pot, pour boiling water over it and ... you know, hope for the best.

What other activities can we have.... ?

On the morning of January 21, 2009, everyone who did not vote for the Republican tickets in 2000, 2004, and 2008 takes a cedar bundle outside and lights it, and we purify the nation the way you purify your home. (If nothing else, think of the stimulus to the native economies in New Mexico and Arizona, making and selling all those cedar bundles!)
