I think I may have had vegemite once if it's what I think it is. It was off whitish looking & had red or orange & green flecks on it & was served on crackers...

Yeah Zap Toasted cheese and Vegemite IS GOOD! YUM
Or, we have little rectangle hard crackers here called Vita Wheats (cant remember if they are called that or something else there)
Anyway you put a good smear of which ever black axle grease spread you prefere on one cracker, then put the other cracker on top then squeeze.
The black stuff ooozes out the little holes like little worms. Kids here love doing that ( and lots of grownups too)

I found no Vegemite nor a comparable substance in Finland. :( Maybe it gets too cold and hardens up!

So maybe we need to move on ... what could Beverley tell us about British fish paste? Maybe at least the kitties would like that!

You could always check with Captain Zap's Branch Anchovians. They may know something about fish paste.

(Apologies...I'm new here and catching up...that line made me ROTF in another thread  )

Thought you had me treed, eh? I may have gone out on a limb but it's not my branch. I'm a vegetarian to my roots. Bark all you want! That's my story and I'm sticking to it. I'll just leaf it at that!
