by this i mean (i am not sure if my meaning came through very well) that when i came in here and saw that you posted that song, i got all excited to say how i had just heard another version of it and i was like, "hey i know that song!" it happens to be a song that i like, and i mean, it is not like i go out and hear it everyday. i just thought it was neat to then find it here.

i hadda wait till this morning to finish listening to them though cuz i were a wee bit tired last night when i saw them, but couldn't wait to say something, haha!

and yes, each one is different, and each one is good me thinks

G1 i've been thinking about your first thanksgiving away from home in 35 years. i remember mine, bittersweet. i have a strong feeling you will be in good company and that peace & love will abound.

you haven't mentioned thanksgiving agnes. i hope you have someone to share the day with.

this has always been a favorite song of mine from my parents era. i had no idea it had made the jump into the sports world.

prancing deer. (just thought i would mention that for what ever it
matters)

Hello all,

I've been over there and wondering yonder.

Thank you G1 for the interesting chant in each version, all new to me.

white bird is an excellent song, a long time favorite.

I am simply trying to wish you a happy thanksgiving. holiday's can be difficult and lonely times for many people. no matter where you are or who you're with, this person appreciates you and is thankful for you, G1 and all the nice people I've met on Arlo.net.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. :)

it is kind of funny i guess, but i always think of that white bird song when i can't find my comb...."white comb, in a golden cage.......white comb must fly....."
that goddamm comb can't be confined either!

i think "freebird" is everyone's song. i always spread out my wings and fly when i listen to the song.

whiskey river, someone commented, "a southern Woodstock". lmaool. a hearty laugh. enjoyed watching the video. willie was so young. he said it was a 4th of July party. I pray he and all on the bus are O.K.

missing you touched my heart. beautiful.

i will be back later. :)

as far as i understand about willie's bus....willie was on a different bus, and those injured have been released from the hospital and are on the mend and doing pretty much alright. if that is incomplete or incorrect i apologize. sending well wishes for all.
