I'm trying to figure out on which album I first heard Arlo tell the story of the Motorcycle Song. The rap I'm remembering was fairly close to the way he tells it on the Live in Sydney album. Some snippets I remember that are a bit different from in the Sydney recording are:

"I feel good now. It's okay to be stupid now. Sometimes it's even smart!"

"I knew it wasn't the best song I ever wrote. At least I hoped it wasn't gonna be."

Does anybody know the recording I'm talking about? I think maybe he just told the story but didn't sing the song and that's why I can't find it looking for the Motorcycle Song.
