Arlo was in fine form on a beautiful night in Columbus, Ohio. I guess a few weeks at home celebrating birthdays was a good thing. With the Columbus Symphony behind him, the show sounded great and the rain that threatened didn't come.

Here's the setlist:
The Orchestra opened with a few tunes of their own, including "Simple Gifts" and the overture from "Rodeo."
Arlo sang:
City of New Orleans
Epilogue
Last Train
St. James Infirmary
The Motorcycle Song
Last to Leave
I Can't Help Falling In Love With You

Intermission

When a Soldier Makes it Home
When the Ship Comes In
In My Darkest Hour
Patriot's Dream
You Are the Song, dedicated to Jackie
This Land is Your Land
Encores were:
Goodnight Irene and
Highway in the Wind

It was a great show, and I even got to speak to him personally and get a picture with him. Thanks, Arlo, for all that you do for your fans!

Thanks for the nice setlist. It let me know what I missed. I wanted so bad to go. Figures that Mikes school reunion would be the nite before. Maybe next yr he'll come back & we'll get to see him there but he has to come in the summer in order for us to plan our trip to visit Mikes sister around it... Oh yeah, I'm wondering what he wore. Glad ya got to talk to him & all... <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/smile.gif" width=15 height=15>

There was a review of the Columbus concert in the Columbus Dispatch (I don't know how to link it, but go to Dispatch online and you can search for it) written by some reporter who doesn't know anything about Arlo--I wrote and gave him a piece of (what's left) of my mind!!!

Thanks for sharing the link. Geeze I hate when reviewers give him bad reivews. The old saying is if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. I'll have to get Mikes sister to save the article for me...

Yes, that's the link. I wrote the reviewer, and he actually responded quite rationally. I'm trying to educate him as to the true meaning of an Arlo show. I'll see when I get to work if he's ready to convert. Cheryl, I'll email you the dialogue we've got going. I don't know how to post it to here, but if anyone wants to see his response, email me and I'll send it to you.
