I have got to say that the show was just like being a fly on the wall of the Guthrie family home . How comfortable and easy it comes to these seasoned pros. It was as if time disapeared and three hours felt like only a short set . I have got to say that I was proud of the crowd in my home town of Anchorage. I am the road manager for the Peter Rowan and Tony Rice Quartet and I have been home for a few days on break. I get exposed to crowds all over this country and now and then a couple others . To say the least some crowds just don't make it easy to be a performer . Imagine not even being able to hear the sound coming out of the instrument for the crowd noise . I have been there and it ain't no pic-nic . So to all my fellow citizens , I thank you . As for the music I think that Johnnie and Sara Lee make an incredible pair . Two of the most beautiful voices and very talented Songwriters , it is hard to imagine the depth of music that is yet to come form this pair . Arlo has put together a great group of folks for this Tour with Gordon Titcomb sitting in with the steel and Mandolin and Guitar and......... he plays everything he can get close enough to touch I swear ! The key board player was tops :D also and since I just met him last night and it is still early for me 8) ,I forgot his name  . Sorry man ! I am not the best in that department but I promise i won't let it happen again !
Well thanks gang and for the rest of the Tour you folks better watch out because if this is the begining then the end is going to be outstanding :D :D :D :D :D :D

Hey Warren,Welcome to arlo.net and thanks for posting. The person on keyboards would most likely have been Arlo,s son Abe.And yes what a talented group he does have with him ;).I only wish I could have got to see Sarah Lee and Johnnie when they were in Canada.Gordon Titcomb is some multi talented guy(you can get his cd,s on his website)>

This interview--not the usual press release--is from Ashville, North Carolina, where the Guthrie Family Legacy Tour will end. It's been a great tour.
