Already four days I came back from Tonder Festival, but still a lot of great music in my head.
It was a wonderful festival with talented artists from different countries in Europe and America.

I was so happy to see Arlo and the Guthrie Family three times in two days!
The shows were different and all fantastic, the first one was for the Happy Birthday to Pete Seeger (Tao Rodriguez was here with the Guthrie Family) , Hans Theessink played also with Arlo in the second show ( great duo of guitar) and the same day , the last day, there was a concert for the « galla show » for the 35th anniversary of the festival.

The gig of Sarah Lee and Johnny , I attended the first night, was also really wonderful, I enjoyed it a lot.

I found some vidéos of the Pete’s Birthday show on you tube ,
one of the link:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qInm3iLxAjw

Actually, a very nice folk festival the year of the 40th anniversary of Woodstock, ……… even the rain and the mud were at the « Rendez-vous » :)

Yes it was a great time.
Sorry Guitarman, it would have been OK ……...but I should have thrown a ladder to you to get into the plane. :)

Arlo's concerts are certainly different in countries where English is not fluently spoken , more songs and music, fewer stories.
However, he told some nice stories, about Pete Seeger , about his first trip in Denmark…. ( apparently most of the audience spoke english very well.......better than me! :( )

Thanks for the info. I think it'd be neat to see him perform overseas...
