Since no one has of yet posted anything about last night's show at the Keswick Theater, I thought I'd get the ball rolling. In a word, "Fantastic!" It had the vibe of one of Arlo's old shows with Shenandoah back in the late 70s/early 80s, great picking and singing with some fresh, invigorating changes to set the set list. David Bromberg sat in on acoustic guitar for all but two of the songs last night, playing tasteful leads and fills throughout the evening. The Burns Sisters singing was angelic, the "new" band simply great. I didn't write down the set list but here's what I can remember, though I certainly have the order wrong:

If anyone has the full, corrected set list, please post! I also (finally) picked up "Postage Due/32 Cents." I listened to it on the long drive home from Glenside. If you haven't ordered a copy yet, don't wait any longer... It was totally worth the long wait!

Hank, thanks for sharing your evening with us. The Keswick was always one of my favorite places to see Arlo. Lots of great memories. I wonder if my cousins Beryl and Howie were there?

Last night at Keswick was one of the best shows Ive seen in a long time. The Burn sisters have totally come into their own...angelic is a great word for their voices. I have never heard "Wake up dead" (one of my favorites) so great!!! with them doing the background. They ad so much to the whole show.

Abe added some new "steps" to his solo in Los Angeles that brought the house down. I was afraid that keyboard was going to fly right off the stand!!!

Arlo looked great - seemed fresh, happy and in excellent voice.

David Bromberg complimented Arlo's guitars playing beautifully.

Great seeing a few blunderites, Nancy & Sue, Dan & Donna.

I dont do set lists, maybe I could con JC into posting, but not too soon, cause we got home from Phili at 3:30 am, and he went to work this morning at 4:30 am (yes, a hour later) - I imagine he just stayed up, after walking and feeding the dogs, maybe had time for a shower...but no sleep. After an hour commute, he Worked until 3pm and headed from NYC to Wherever, PA where ADG is playing tonight. Don't expect to see him any time soon if at all - he might crash at some friends in PA tonight. But I'll move him in the direction of a set list the next time I see him awake.

Sounds like he's having fun seeing Arlo. Looks like I missed a good show. Sounds alot like the Bethesda, MD show. The Burns sisters were really good with him...

I enjoyed the show a lot. It was only my 2nd Arlo show. I was glad to meet Nancy and John again. I can't wait for my next show...... Steve

Hello Hank, Sorry I missed you at Keswick. Had to run to catch the train to the train home so we couldn't hang out after the show. I didn't keep a setlist but yours is pretty close if not dead on. And what a show... the band sounds great and I love the Burns Sisters. Would like to see them do a couple of their songs to open the shows like Xavier used to. Thought Bromberg added alot the first set, not so much the second. I'm enjoying the new songs so that bodes well for the eventual Lost World cd.

A tip of the hat to someone who doesn't often get mentioned...Arlo's soundman Bruce worked the board at Keswick and the Sherman Theaters. Brilliant job as always!
