Andrea:

No and I don't know, I had a hard time last year on Thanksgiving, I do not wish to discuss it.

Looks like I am totally forgotten on this forum too!

What? That's just silly. You're not forgotten, and we missed you at the Fall Revival.

Lori, I don't know you except through this site. I do know that everyone on here is very supportive and helpful most of the time (but don't mess with Larry when he's got his skates on!). As far as having a tough go of it on Thanksgivings, I've learned to overcome that by using it as a day to "throw the garbage out" that's been cluttering my mind and getting in the way of positive progress. I'm talking negative thoughts, past family hostilities, old enemies, etc. As Cheryl says, we're here for you.

thanks to all of you for the "Sylvie:" song... it is hauntingly beautiful and I really hope the Guthrie women do record their version some day....

I enjoyed seeing the picture, Lorie... found it very difficult myself at the GC to get everyone in one photo... so have quite a few "half" family shots...
two would have done it...
I would have enjoyed seeing you there...

It's my birthday today and it's a beautiful day here in Glen Ellyn and Arlo and family will be performing just 2 miles down the road from my home on Friday. I am SO excited because this is the first time that I have been able to get my kids to a show - and what better show for them to experience than Arlo and HIS kids! Daughter Heidi has adjusted her work hours and son Peter is coming up from U of Il, and riding the 'City of New Orleans' from Champaign/Urbana! We have 3rd row seats, just off center.

Hey Arlo, if you have time and the weather is good, take time to come into town and see beautiful Glenbard West High School in the center of town. It sits on beautiful Lake Ellyn and is a wonderful place to relax and for the kids to run around. Next to the train tracks on Main Street, there is a cute little restaurant the kids love called 'Toot Toots'. The meals are delivered on a little train.

Just a thought :D

Happy Birthday Fearless!!! There does seem to be a trend or pattern around here concerning Arlo performing near Blunderites on or about their birthdays. It's happened in my favor 3 years in a row, and it looks like it'll be happening again next year.
