Hi Folks,
Just wondering if anyone else will be attending Arlo's show at Epcot this year? We'll be there 6/4 and 6/5 and I'm getting excited. We saw him there 4 years ago and it was a definate blast. His daughter was very
pregnant and beautiful. I hadn't seen him perform live since my college days ( early 70's) and I think he's only gotten better. Anyone know if the whole family will be joining him as well?

Feelin' Groovy,
Kate

Looks like the lineup will be Arlo, Abe Guthrie, Gordon Titcomb, and Sarah Lee And Johnny. Enjoy the shows!

Hi Tiny,

Sarah Lee and Johnny's website has the gigs listed so it's a pretty safe bet. Sarah Lee and Johnny's Tour Schedule

The Disney website says the Flower Power Concert Series is at the American Gardens Theater at Epcot, 5:45PM, 7:00PM, and 8:15PM. Flower Power Series info

Just a suggestion, if you have a choice it will probably be less busy on Monday. That weekend is Gay Days and on Sunday Epcot is the park at which they will gather. Don't get me wrong,I have no gay issues, it will just be more crowded and the seating is minimal at the outdoor theater. Also heard, less rain expected Monday. I attended 4 years ago and there is some cover from the sun. The sets last about 45 min. with breaks in between. Arlo signs autographs between sets. Good luck getting there. Oh yes, admission to Epcot is required.

Hello again,
Anyone know if this will be permitted at these shows?
I can't remember from 4 years ago and I didn't have that camera yet. Thanks.

Hey guys.

I saw Arlo yesterday (6/2/06) at Epcot. I saw him at the 8:15 show. This is 45 minutes before the 9:00 fireworks show and park closing. Thus, I am not sure if the setlist/length was different form his other sets.

He played two songs, AR and TLiYL with extended commentary within and between songs. The show lasted about 30 minutes.

As brief as it was, I thoroughly enjoyed this show. There was plenty of available seats, and I videoed the entire show (or 99.9% of it). You should have no problem videoing the show if you so desire.

They'll let you video...it just becomes a problem if you offer the video for sale.

I'll not be going but I've just remembered that a few years ago Arlo posted something along the lines of:- amoungst all the decorations for the shows the word 'Peace' didn't appear, the words love and such did but no peace.

If it was Arlo I can't remember but someone wondered if we ( blunderites) should send them some Peace. I don't know if anyone else ever did but I remember me and Alan spending hours decorating the word peace in lots of Psycodellic swerlling coloures. I wonder if they ever got them?

:peace:

We caught 2 shows per night at Epcot this past weekend and Arlo did mention that "Peace" was not displayed. I did not notice "Love" anywhere either. "Flower Power" signage was on each side of the stage.

The shows are only 30 minutes long but well worth the trip. Next year we'll plan our dining a little better and catch all 3 shows per evening. SLG and JI also got some time. An outstanding weekend about sums it up.
