The instrumental that Arlo plays at almost every show at the start of the second half is Red Haired Boy aka Little Beggar Man. Arlo's One Night CD has the song of Little Beggar Man with Arlo singing the lyrics and the same music melody of what you heard at his show

Judging by previous setlists that have been posted here, I would venture to guess it was Little Beggarman... also called Red Haired Boy. Arlo does have it on one of his "older" albums... and also Pete's grandson's group The Mammals do an amazing version of it.
