Arlo was about to end the show after Highway In the Wind and he was so sweet to sing one more song or two at least we all got our moneysworth

Yup, that was Patriot's Dream that he sang. And the very last song he did was "The Meeting At The Building Will Soon Be Over", after we'd all been on our feet, stomping, clapping, and cheering, until Arlo finally came back downstairs, after what must have been about 5 minutes of persistent noise from us. He brought his beer with him. He was dying to drink it, and said, with a stern, serious look on his face, (but we knew he meant it affectionately), "What a pain in the butt you are!". Whenever he got to a pertinent line in the song, such as, "The meeting at the building will soon be over" or "The singing in the building will soon be over", he looked at us, and pointed his finger at us, for emphasis. We let him leave and drink his beer when it was over. It was a great night!

Thanks Judy for the follow up ....So that was brewed hops Arlo was drinking it looked like black cherry cola sitting in the glass from a distance. As for the last song I also do not remember what I was singing during the chorus thanks to Amstel the breakfast of champions, time to switch to Folgers hehe. Overall Saturday night was a great night after all. Yip yip hooray!!

I did mention to the folkslinger and others that I thought that last song tasted a whole lot better with a beer on the piano.
