Beryl and Howie met Mari and me for dinner at a neat restaurant that John C would love (it's in an old RR station in Wyncote). We got to the theater and ran into Sue, Dan and Donna. When we got to our seats, we discovered that Sue was directly behind me! How does this keep happening? We keep managing to be seated either next to or behind each other at every show! And we're not even coordinating this!

A wonderful show, a wonderful weekend... a wonderful 7 months of Arlo shows. I hope he can get some much needed rest and spend some quality time with his family this holiday season.

Thanks for the set list! Sounds like ya'll had a great time. Wish we could've gone & hitched a ride with Sue but after going to 4 shows here in VA so close to this one it would've been hard traveling to this one & affording it. So you & Sue got to sit in our seats. I noticed the time we went we usually ran into blunderites at a Chinese place near there. I remember the time Todd got kicked after the show there & no one could find him after that lol. I remember him & Larry hanging out before the show. It's fun going up there...

I have never seen such tight security at an Arlo show before, even here in the past it wasn't like it was last night. We're a bunch of middle-aged folk talking to a mild-mannered folkslinger... and we had huge prison-guards!

Everyone was lined up waiting their turn. The main "prison guard" walked back along the line then toward the front yelling (and I do mean yelling), "OK now, straighten up this line!!!!!" In my mind, I imagined him weilding a billyclub.

Right near Arlo stood several more prison guards, at the ready to tackle anyone who dared to look threateningly at Arlo. As we were almost ready to leave (is anyone really "ready" to leave after an Arlo show?), a woman (must have been the "matron") said, "time to say goodbye, ladies, thanks for coming, the door's down here." Or something to that effect.

Wow, that place needs to lighten up, just a bit!

Lance decided he wanted his own Arlographed copy of Alice. So when I handed it to him to sign and I said it's for Lance, here's what he wrote: "For Lance, she's your ticket to sainthood." ACK!

Great night. Hope Michael's feeling better and hope Gordon's shoulder starts healing. Serena's adorable with her 2 front teeth missing. Krishna grew another 15 inches or so since we last saw him. And Cheryl, white socks.

Don't forget, Terrie...Arlo healed us for the next 6 months!
The security dudes at the Keswick are always waaay too much into their jobs...I guess us middle aged short women look threatening or something?

Oh, so THAT's what that was all about! He never told me, he just flagged down my car and said, "wait!"

I remember one yr at the Keswick the security was being such buttheads trying to rush fooks out fast after a Arlo gig there & being a general pain. So I e-mailed them & complained. The next yr they were so much better lol. But then the yr after that they got sucky again. Guess it's time to complain again. When I complained I didn't tell what show I was at as I didn't want it to look bad on Arlo. I just read your posts to Mike & he said our freedom is being threatened & big brother is watching you...

The keswick show was great this was my second time seeing arlo both times at keswick,and again he and his bandmate and son blew me away.
I got to meet arlo after the show which was a joy. As tired as they were from a long tour to take the time is beyond gracious. I have laid my bass and guitar down and packed away the power chords to learn the banjo.all from the uplifting from arlo and his music. He has opened my ears to a whole genre of music i always new exsited nut never took the time to truly appreciate.
