What's the difference between 18 seconds vs 18 minutes ?

I haven't heard the Robbie Williams lyrics but the whole idea of suing someone
over a line such as "Every good man gets a little hard luck sometime" is about
as far removed from Woody Guthrie as anything I can think of. I am trying to
track down the people at Ludlow responsible for the action and let them know
what I think. As far as I am concerned, in this case, they are not acting in
the best interests of the Guthrie family.

I am also waiting to hear from TRO. I wrote to my sister, Nora, who is the
closest the folks over there at TRO (Ludlow) and asked her to look into it. If
there is no more to this than there appears on the surface, I hope they will
drop the case. Otherwise I'd like to know why this worth doing...

This is a statement made in public, but not a public statement... If you know
what I mean. If you want to direct anyone to this site for my views fine, but I
don't think it would be appropriate to "quote" me until TRO responds and I hear
they're point of view. Thanks again...

Arlo's 'Restaurant'
"Election Fever," the latest film series sponsored by the Hiroshima-Nagasaki
Commemoration Committee, continues tonight with "Alice's Restaurant." The
1969 film, based on a song by Arlo Guthrie, stars Guthrie as a guy desperately
trying to avoid the draft. Much anarchy ensues.
The free film begins at 7:30 p.m. at 4806 York Road, with a discussion
afterward. Information: 410-323-7200.

I'd have loved to have gone & seen that. ALICES in a real movie theatre or auditorium! I can make Baltimore to see our Uncle Arlo but it would've been too hard going that far (4 hrs) & he's not there. I see this happened last month. Those folks should've given the info to Dave. Then folks could've gone. I assume they didn't know about the site tho. *S* The movie should tour nationwide & be shown in theatres across the country. Sadly I never saw it when I was first out altho I heard of it. Amazingly Mike saw it. At the theatre closest to us! He never did become a blunderite until I did in 1988. (I blame it on ELVIS as Mike is a huge fan of his.)

Anyway, thanks for the info! If they ever have any paid postions on here Dave will have to give you one! Image She should've been a reporter! Image
