sue, our dog, Buddy, just had a "suspicious-looking thing removed from his side" on Mon. morning. The vet said it took 10 stitches to close up (he originally told us 1 or 2), and he wants to do a biopsy. Guess those "side things" are going around!

Taking care of that animal DOES take priority--even over an Arlo show.

Hampton last night was wonderful. I got Arlo to sign my work ID, which seemed really symbolic of my pledge to keep my priorities straight at the time. Now people at work are just more convinced I'm a little obsessed. C'est vrai!

Yep, family members...be they two legged or four...have priority when they've got a problem or need help. The vet said he's going to remove a large chunk of skin, and the incision all said and done will be about 8" long. Good thing Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs have a lot of extra skin!

sue, I know we're way off-topic here, but we just found out that Buddy's tumor was benign, so that's all good. He goes in next week to get the stitches removed. Hope your dog completely recovers too.

So glad Sue is doing okay. When you didn't show up at the show we wondered if something was wrong. I thought maybe you got snowed in with bad weather. Sure sorry to hear about your dog. Wow didn't realize Kerri was at the show. We'd have liked to have met you. We were at both shows. I was the fat chick there who wore the gray minskirt & top on Tues nite & the wideleg jeans & gold top on Wed. We made a whole trip of it. Hit the used records record store while we were there. Thurs on the way home we hit 2 malls in VA Beach cuz they have a couple shops with ladies plus sizes that they don't have in our area & the Value City store cuz they don't have one in our area. We had a great 3 days...
