Hi Arlo, Do you remember playing a gig in Bermuda and having your baggage including your banjo sent on somewhere else. A friend of mine living in the same village is Paul, the guy who lent you the Fender banjo that you played that night. Unfortunately he has had a hard time of late, suffering a stroke, losing most of his sight and losing the feeling in his hands. He cannot play anymore and has given the banjo to another friend to learn on. Paul is very upbeat about his condition and given the chance will repeat the story of lending the Fender to you, I have lost count of the times I have heard it. What I think would really cheer him up, and give him something else to tell us about would be if you could find the time to drop him a line and wish him well. He would be absolutely over the moon.
