I saw a really interesting, as well as entertaining, documentary tonight: "Radio Unnameable" (http://www.radiounnameablemovie.com/). It is about Bob Fass, a WBAI host of a program of the same name as the movie. And it includes a brief appearance by Mr. G and snippets of interviews and "Alice" -- as well as some great clips of Jerry Jeff Walker, David Bromberg, NYC -- and, well, just lots of great stuff. Definitely worth a see if it makes it your way -- it's playing Silverdocs in Silver Spring tomorrow, then a screening in NY, then nothing scheduled as best I can tell. Hopefully it'll make it onto DVD.

Cheryl, probably a little too "progressive" for your tastes. I used to listen to WBAI "back in the day," and it was way out there to the left. Not sure what they're doing today.

Hi Agnes!

While I'm at it, there was another lovely movie -- won best audience award -- that did not involve Arlo, but probably could have: "Trash Dance," a doc about a choreographer who worked with Austin's sanitation department workers to create a dance involving them and their trucks. The litter abatement workers were among the participants. It was fascinating, moving, funny...just lovely. I hope it makes it into the theaters or at least to DVD.
