The Lisner concert in DC was enchanting. I would love an audio or video of the concert. Anyone know of a source?

I want a LISNER tape too! Wow, you are so lucky to have gone. (Can I get a tad envious? LOL!) I wanted to go sooo bad. (It was only a 3 hr trip from me here in VA.) They wouldn't let me in cuz it was a private invitation only event. Boo-hiss! Even tho Arlo & I have been friends for 10 or 11 yrs, they wouldn't let him let us or any of his other fans & friends in. I'm so glad to see that there was someone who really loved him there in the audience! From what I heard about it it was all a bunch of rich uppity folks who donated over 20000 $$$ to a big Symphony there & they had it for those uppity folks, in appreciation of their big $$$ donation. (I could've used a few of those $$$ myself! LOL!) I suspect it was a suck-up thing where Arlo had to do as they said in order to get good gigs. Shame they'd do that to him. He's too sweet a man!

But I am sure glad to see a real live person who cares was there! I also need a video of it. But I did get to see him twice in DE & twice in NC this yr which ain't bad considering he never comes to VA. If you have pics of the event we'd love ya to send them to Dave so we can see em! Thanks for being there to support him on a nite when none of his friends were able to get in! Peace & welcome to ARLONET!

I was VERY lucky to be at the Lisner performance. Just for the record, it was a George Washington University event and there were not just big donors in attendance. It was also an opportunity for the GWU president to thank people who have made various contributions over the year -- the friend who brought me is an historian at the University and there were grad students, etc. Did you all know that Arlo was wearing a tux and received a medal from the U president? A truly unique and unbelievable evening.

Wow, sounds like a nice event! Maybe I should've made friends with that historian at the college. LOL! I was pretty ticked cuz they wouldn't let me in as much as I love him. They only wanted to invite whoever they wanted & not whoever Arlo wanted. Oh well. Sigh. So you're especially lucky to have seen him there cuz none of his friends were allowed in. Glad to see someone who loves Arlo was there. They said he had wore a tux & it was with the Symphony & he got a medal.

I had a magical time seeing Arlo in Wilmington DE, with the Symphony-- the next 2 nites Oct. 22 & 23! You should've been there. It was wonderful! The man wore a tux 3 nites in a row! Well he did spend 5 minutes in jeans & a t-shirt with a saying on it. Probably so I'd know it was really him! & Fri. Oct 29, was the gig at Guilford College in Greensboro, NC!
