I would love any "live" shows......with Leah, without Leah.....I always wonder why there seem to be no "live" videos. One has to buy compilations of shows to get Arlo....I wish Rising Son would re-release The Arlo Guthrie Show or Hard Travelin (or both )

I sorta think of Arlo’s music as incomplete without his priceless dialogue. And the dialogue is enhanced with video. They are so complementary. Anyone who has seen an Arlo performance understands this. Maybe the video stuff is obtrusive and not in the moment. Whatever the reason, the loyal fans would love to see an occasional video.

Years ago I lived in Simi valley Ca. one year I was invited to meet Will Geer who would put on the Woody's benefit shows in the canyon. I played the guitar and still do but this year I got to play with the many who came to listen and came to sing and play. Arlo you probably don't remember me but I remember you. We all got together toward the end of the program and sing This land is your land. Songs like that will never lose its inspiration,sometimes I think I've got a great song to sing but when ya put it up to your dad's song I know it lacks the glue that holds life together. I still play today I go to the prison's and do my thing. those days of playing with Will really helped me I even went out to Guitar Center and Bought me a J-45 Gold and I love it.Hope to see you in concert again its been a while since I saw you in L.A. I couldn't agree more but it is more than the dialogue it is seeing the smile come acorss his face whne he is telling a story and just loses it laughin so hard.... Rueben Clamzo...it is seeing his enjoyment with what he does that makes Arlo shows the some of the best I have seen live...Thank you my friend for doing what you do

The closest he's coming to us is Seattle.

What a beautiful song! Thank you. Your talkin' about the mountains makes me feel homesick. When I was a kid we camped up there in the summer. I haven't been back to Ore in a few years, but it's always in my heart.
Wow, you got to work with Will Geer! I always loved him as Grandpa on the Waltons. He sure is one of the Legends of Folk.

For anyone who wants 'live' on CD and hasn't heard or hasn't got Live in Sydney......GET IT! It's the same gig I saw adg do in Brisbane and really fun! I've never laughed (and cried a little, during This Land, 'cos it makes me homesick) so much at a concert in my whole 51 years....and I've been to alot of 'em here and there.
