Hey everybody,
I'm sort of new at this bootleg downloading and trading thing for Arlo since I didn't know that it was actually happening. I tried to join Dime a dozen to get this one show in particular, the 10/21/05 Ithaca, NY show. When attempting to join, it said that there was too many people already joined, so I can't go there and get any shows for myself. I would be willing to do a bootleg trade or do a blank disc and postage trade with anyone who'd have this show and will be willing to help me out.
Since I do not have any Arlo bootlegs, I do have other groups if anyone is interested.
I have a lot from The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, The Who, one from Janis Joplin, some by The Band, and a 3 disk woodstock rarities set which except for one or two songs, is completely unreleased (which includes the only Arlo Guthrie Song not previously released, "Amazing Grace").

They allow taping at the State Theatre in Ithaca! :) All above board and legit. (: In addition to Arlo's, set, I have a nice cd of The Mammals set also. I'll send you an email.

I was at that show, having not seen Arlo since Jimmy Carter was president, when he and Pete Seeger performed at Cooper Union (and he did the first updated version of Alice's Restaurant in response to Carter's Presidential Directive 59, which reinstated registration for the draft).

Loved, loved, loved this show! In particular, Arlo's rendition of his father's song My Peace. I've been telling folks about the song, found the lyrics, but cannot find the melody anywhere. I'd love to get my hands on a recording of even just that song (or that and the new Alice's Restaurant version he did at the show). I had no idea you could record there, or I would have.

Having never recorded a concert, I don't have anything to trade. But I'd be willing to do the blank CD/tape and SASE thing like the guy above. I do have some cool vinyl and could trade rare recordings transferred to CD.
