We were in P'Town last summer & we wandered into a very funky gallery. A voice came from upstairs ... it was soon followed by a woman who looked vaguely familiar to us. We all passed some time talking & looking at her collections. Eventually I saw the books & a light came on. So I popped the question & sure enough ... she is Alice. We bought "Mooses Come Walking" & Alice signed it.
We live in Vancouver, BC & have tix for your gig here. Is there any way we can get you to sign it while you are here?

go to the show, and enjoy yourselves!!
and then just hang around afterwards... there's usually a spot where everyone will congregate... maybe by the bus... maybe inside the venue, it's up the the venue ya know, but just hang around, cause almost always, arlo will come out and do a meet & greet... and he always tries to accomodate everyone's request for an arlograph or a photo... cause that's just the kinda guy he is!

I hear ya Arlo! I can always tell when I look at the stuff on ebay. There are some people (I imagine) who just wait in line to get something signed only to turn it around and sell it on ebay (for big $$, too!). It actually pisses me off!!! It makes it look bad for the reat of us (like me ) who patiently wait in line for an ARLOgraph or a picture or even a hug!! These are things I want ALL FOR ME!!! I'm so happy that you take the time to do that -- you're such a sweetie!! See ya at the Church in May!!

That was a very sweet thing to say to Arlo, Cyndy. You are such a devoted fan. I will be seeing Arlo in concert this month. He's coming to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and this will be the first time I see Arlo. I bought the ticket six months ago...and time has sped by so fast.
I imagine I won't be able to get an Arlograph because the Chan Centre is so big.

Hi ADG! Nice to see ya on here. I agree about ya with the E-bay stuff. How can people sell on there something that meant so much to them. I'll never understand that. Anything I have of you is so precious to me. Have agreat day kids...

I can see Arlo's point. You sit there for an hour or longer signing stuff, you'd like it to be because it means something to the person who's asking, and not a method of making a quick buck. Regular blunderites kind of find that stuff on ebay funny, though. I mean...it's not that hard to get something signed by Arlo. If you care enough to want to own something he's signed, wouldn't you go to a gig and get it signed in person? I guess if you really can't get to one you might want to buy something special that was signed by the artist, but signed tickets to regular gigs? I've seen those.

OTOH, there's some nice Arlobilia on ebay. Stuff that's not available anymore anywhere. And look at it this way, adg - a lot of aspiring artists just DREAM about the day that they'll be exploited on ebay. These days it comes with the folk legend territory.
