Greetings, fellow Arlo Guthrie enjoyers.

I work at a record store, and I've been on what I like to call "the Arlo crusade" where I'm listening to every record of his that we happen to have in the shop. So far I've listened to Alice's Restaurant, Arlo, the Alice's Restaurant soundtrack, Washington County, the self-titled, and Hobo's Lullaby. Besides Alice, my favorite album has been Washington County, and I dig the live sound on Arlo. Considering we have most every album (at least up to Power of Love) what would you guys recommend I listen to next?

Thanks in advance, yall.
Rhett

Oh!

the Running Down the Road album?

We have that one. I've listened to the song that was on the Best Of (which we also have!) and thought it was pretty good (Coming Into Los Angeles). I'll have to check that one out next time I'm in.

Was in the shop last night, so I listened to two. Running Down The Road and Last Of The Brooklyn Cowboys.

I thought Running Down The Road was alright. I like My Front Pages, Oklahoma Hills, and Coming Into Los Angeles. But I really found myself enjoying Brooklyn Cowboys. Especially Last Train, Gypsy Davy, and my beloved Cooper's Lament.

It is great going through stuff that has been here, and some of it gets rediscovered or discovered for the first time. This amazing musical thing that can be passed forward on and on and that humans have been going about for how long?

That’s all I know how to say right now
