Seasons greetings and hello from Ireland. Last evening we watched a lot of you Arlo on 'Utube'. We enjoyed listening to you with your family and friends.

We were very much moved by your rendition, accompanied by your family, of one of our favourite hymns 'Amazing Grace'. "Amazing Grace" is a Christian hymn with words written by the English poet and clergyman John Newton (1725–1807), published in 1779. The background concerning the writer of this hymn is something else which may be of interest at "Amazing Grace - From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia"

We retired to our bed and following over an hour of routinely, hot, passionate, love-making, we drifted blissfully to sleep, in each-other's arms. God loves sex sure didn't they create it? We happen to love it toooooo! This is Christmas Day and we are sure going to be busy with our beautiful family coming to dinner and all that stuff. And there's always Christmas Night to look forward too - yum-yum! Our family know we really love our 'quiet times' together.

I woke up a short time later and you Arlo and your family were really on my mind and I just couldn't get back to sleep but I did and when I woke up I tried to remember what it was I had to send to you so this is as much of what I think is ALL but there may have been more. In fact come to think of it I'm fairly certain there really is some more? Anyway Arlo these words are for you and your family.

The chair may be empty but everyone you love is right there with you and from the mouths of babes shall spring forth beautiful memories of love eternal.

That's my wee Christmas present to you Arlo but your BIG New Years present to us is in coming back to Ireland in Jan 2013 where we shall enjoy listening to the 'Kid' live. We are making a date of it and will be staying in a hotel for the night. It is with deepest sympathy and warm hearts we understand the background to you coming back but Arlo you wont be back in Ireland on your own and the love you bring with you is not just your own. That very same love accompanied you the last time we saw and met you on that Saturday in September. Things like love and hate seem to ooze out from people. And sometimes the love and hate from other people attaches itself to our insides and sometimes it just oozes out and even if we tried to stop it from oozing out, we couldn't. We shall again experience that that kind of love, as mentioned by Paul when he defined "Love" as the greatest gift of all, through your music and you together. All things are possible including people having gifts. When I thought of you coming back the song by John Lennon also came to mind "Imagine all the people living life in peace........" and if the shoe fits - it does!

May your god go with you and your nearest and dearest Arlo. You were just only on my mind fellow time-traveller and as I wrote somewhere else, responsible, along with others, for turning us Granddad and Grandma normal folk into Hippy, Happy, Hippies! Anyway I'm getting this off to you before my darling better half wakes up and I really surprise her on Christmas that during the normal handing out of the presents, by all the family, I show her this possible faux pas. May love spring eternal we shall wait to see. I know it does! See ya soon Arlo with hugs and best wishes to you and your family. Take it easy man and may your Christmas Day bring joy.

What a beautiful message! Merry Christmas to you there in the land of my ancestors. Although, I feel we are really not that far apart :D

Peace, Kevin
