I'm thinkin' that Arlo could do a wonderful "Poor Wayfaring Stranger". His harmonica skills would go great with this minor keyed song.

I'm the owner of the "5 minute safety topic" at work. I have to come up with some little idea to get people thinking about safety at the beginning of each shift. So the other night I recorded myself playing "Poor Wayfaring Stranger", then added different words.

Don't watch if you have sensitive ears! :D I bet Arlo could do it a LOT better.

How did the safety training go?

Edited for grammar.

Oddly enough, it sorta backfired on some of the crew. Our boss has a hangup about too many folks bein' in the breakroom at the same time. Well, three were in there, watching my video and of course, in walks the boss. He sees 75% of the crew gathered around the computer watching videos. "BOOM" "But boss, we're just watching the 5 minute safety talk."

They didn't get in trouble, but he still wasn't very happy.

I wanna hear Arlo Guthrie and Steve Earle singing "Cover of the Rolling Stone".

Would be epic.

How about ADG and BB King doing a cover of AC DC's "Ride On".

Would be phenomenal. 8)

I think Arlo could do a great job on Poor Wayfaring Stranger.

I think it would be interesting to hear Arlo sing "Let The Good Times Roll"

Folger's, I hope!

Whatever happened to that tie-in with Folger's you had on tv ads? Think it lasted only one season.

I remember the Folgers coffee ads. The first
time I saw that, I was like Hey that sounds like Arlo! I had taped it on video tape but not sure if I still have it.

Never actually enjoyed Folgers but the ad we did for them (a little prostitution never hurts) helped buy the Church. For that I remain grateful to them. I like strong fair-traded organic java if I can find it. :)

So, folkslinger, inquiring minds want to know if you're singing for Warren or Brown this Nov.? Barack or Mitt? Are you still a card-carrying Republican?

I'd probably listen to Arlo sing the phone book, But I'd draw the line at anything disco.
