I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right place. I just joined this site and boy am I too late to get tickets to Carnige Hall. I've been searching for the perfect thank you gift for my dad. He was also born in Coney Island, that was in 1932. Growing up all I heard in the house was Arlo,Pete and Joan Biaz etc.
My dad now lives in LA. Calif and I'm in New Jersey so we hardly see eachother. This would be the Perfect gift for him but we have to plan quite ahead to pull this off. He's also using a walker now so that makes tickets even harder to find.

Are there plans for future get togethers? If anyone knows when the next Guthrie/Seegar get together will be it would be so helpful.

Hugs, CherylS

I'll try to keep my eyes open for such events and will tell you if I see any. Have you tried looking at the schedule here?

Have a good day. We are up in Matewan, WV home of the Hatfield McCoy feuds. Went to a Baptist church in KY this am that was a ways from Loretta Lynns hometown. Some old hillbilly man fell asleep in church & started snoring loud which was driving me batty. The preacher finally said he thinks that guy snoring was almost louder than his preaching. LOL. So some guys gets up & taps him & the snoring stops. ROTFL. Then 2 elderly ladies started talking during the service. One said Are ya gonna tell him honey. #2 said I don't know. #1 goes You gonna tell him honey. Well are ya. & #2 said something about telling him. An old lady in front of us was looking at them like what in the world. LOL. Tonite we went to a Baptist church in Matewan, WV & they had some good singing...

Cheryl,

You can still get Carnegie Hall tickets through the Carnegie box office. The seats may not be the best, but they are still available.
The box office number is (212) 247-7800. Or you can go online at http://www.carnegiehall.org.

Hope to see you there!

As far as any more concerts are concerned, we do not any in the plans anytime soon.
