ok so I've missed most of Arlo's albums that came out after 1982. I am trying to catch up slowly LOL
Anyway I was just skimming thru the lyircs section and I saw this.
can anybody tell me what cd its on or where I can find it?

NORMAN ALWAYS KNEW
Words and music by Joe Manning and Steve Vozzolo

I've been from Maine to Texas
I've searched from coast to coast
For the country on the cover
Of the Saturday Evening Post
On every road I traveled
In all the places I passed through
I saw the faces of America
That Norman always knew

There's so much that we owe this man
With a pipe in his mouth and a brush in his hand
His pictures made us understand
What Norman always knew
No matter how the world may change
These words sing out like an old refrain
"Deep inside we're all the same"
Norman always knew

The young girl at the mirror
The boy with the fishing pole
The family all together
The young man leaving home
The wonder of young lovers
The old folks love still true
The special feelings that we share
Norman always knew

There's so much that we owe this man
With a pipe in his mouth and a brush in his hand
His pictures made us understand
What Norman always knew
No matter how the world may change
These words sing out like an old refrain
"Deep inside we're all the same"
Norman always knew

"Deep inside we're all the same"
Norman Rockwell knew

That song came out as a cassette single, and featured a drawing of Arlo painting a self portrait, like the famous Norman Rockwell painting. I don't see it on their site, but you could ask Rising Son Records if they still have any around....

1purpledragon,
It might be worth a phone call to find out! Maybe if they don't have one at the moment, they may know where to get their hands on a copy.

I took the liberty of looking up the number.

413-298-4100

Tuck it in your purse and give them a shout when you get up there.

thank-you all for your help. I will be calling Rising Son today and if they don't have it I'll try the museum.
I'll let you know.

Maybe it could be rereleased as an MP3, if not on a CD (as long as the cover art is included. The Rockwell-style cover of Arlo is priceless)?
