A sharing of views need not be a debate, although it can be. Arlo shared his, and you shared yours.( as many others of us have) We don't ask that either of you accept or adopt the others, merely accept each others right to have them.Are you starting to see what many of us have been trying to explain?
From your original postings, are you starting to see that if someone like Arlo mentions various traditions involved in the human condition he is not preaching or pushing some unified one world religion? C'mon now, I can see you smile from here! Nice , isn't it?!

So many good points made. I read many moons ago from a spiritual book (wish I could remember the name) "one God many names, one God many faces". This is how I try to live and teach my children that there is no one way all paths if walked true and honest lead to the same place. I now live in a small town in Maine but if I lived in a large city like I grew up in we would go to a Catholic church one week, Pagoda the next, then a Temple, a Pow- Wow, a Wiccan festival, drum / chant circle...you get the idea. I feel the closer you get to the earth the closer you get to God. And by the way the last three are a spiritual journey in themselves. I wish you all a fulfilling journey
