First, let me say, hi was at the site last year and rejoined (hi and hello again!)

Second, we (my wife Ann and I) went to the Arlo gig at Miami University in Middletown Ohio...which is about a two hour drive for us. We live in McCordsville Indiana (just outside of Indianapolis). We purchased the tickets sometime back like in January! Well worth the bread spent! Moreso, we havent seen Arlo since 1978 (that long? uh-huh-The Morris Stage Morristown NJ when he was gigging with Shenandoah!)

Loved the show-great that he and the band along with the wonderful Burns Sisters did a fantastic two hour show that featured plenty of Guthrie gems inc. Darkest Hour Saint James Infirmary Prologue When A Soldier Makes It Home Evangelina (the Hoyt Axton toon) several Ledbelly comps and a bunch of other nifty ditties that made the night in more ways than one!
Great band too btw-featuring offspring Abe on keys and vocals.

A mighty fine evening filled with plenty of good singing and good playing augmented by nifty interludes of Arlo wit!

Met Arlo after the show with the many others who had wares to sign, which we did too inc the VINYL copy of In Times Like These---see what you downloaders are missing!

Didnt know that Arlo is playing Connor Prairie(Indianapolis) in July-two dates! One of em is on my b'day! Most likely will go
to that one!

Welcome to the site! Sounds alot like the shows I went to in Hampton. That is so cool you saw him with Shenandoah back then...

I'm sooooooooo jealous! I tried to get tix to that show but I was too late and they were sold out. I guess I'll be makin the trek to Indy in july, see ya there!
