I was glad to see you in the parade ( I was able to watch it on the internet). Happy Thanksgiving!

Just jumping on to wish Arlo and his family and everyone else Happy Thanksgiving; and yes, he's probably sick of it, but listening to Alice's Restaurant on Thanksgiving is just as much a tradition for us old hippies as turkey

I came across this online saying Arlo did Alices with Bruce Springsteen. http://www.associatedcontent.com/articl ... html?cat=9

I want to see that. They should've televised that. I know they didn't cut Arlo off from singing but it would've been nice to have seen all of his show. Guess you have to be on the float to hear it all... ;)

Very cool!

Too bad the NBC TV coverage was so spotty...TV "personalities" heads filling the screen, floats going past behind them, bands playing, they're talking about nothing, on and on...balloons floating past, they're still talking..! (HEY! there's a frapping PARADE behind you!!!) I was glad they finally started showing SOME of the parade!

And as far as CBS was concerned, Arlo wasn't there...but they did keep cutting away from the parade to show past concert footage of Carrie Underwood...three entire songs worth. Grumble, grumble...!

I heard Arlo perform in the Macy's parade. I was unable to catch all the lyrics due to noise at home with thanksgivign going on... But it seems to me that he changed the lyrics some, talking about "not seeing any signs posted.." I have not been able to find a video or read anything about him altering the lyrics some. Did he ? where can i find out thanks.
Thanks arlo for all you do.
Sincerely chris nicastro

I figured that those of us who saw the parade on televison would only see a little of Arlo and the float. It was fun to see the kids waving and Sarah and Arlo up front singing. Puts all the advertising they throw at people this time of year in perspective. Thanks, Arlo!
