1Purpledragon..I posted in your YouTube regarding the videos at the Zoo..I came home repeating litereally, that it was a time I will never forget for as long as I live. The whole setting was serene and perfect, we even had a few young kids getting into a retro dig of the music, in front of us, but they were harmless, except to the some of the folks that didn't feel like being blocked, but other than that, it was a memorable night. Thanks again for sharing these they're great!

I'm glad a read on further about the Zoo..I'm stopping short of my intent to send them a letter for the great concert and that I would support them once more and each time Arlo showed to do a concert..but I've retracted that since seeing that there was much more than karma of the night in the air. I did noticed the two kids, and they were bothering others who couldn't see in front of them, it was definately a venue of certain decorum, a respect if you will for the great one :D

I do totally agree with Arlo, and if it isn't the zoo, then we'll travel to the church which was our intent anyway! Going to make my contribution to get my tickets.

Rock on Sweet Soul..I never tire of your aire about you, your missives and those get-out-of-here-beautiful-white-locks (don't cut them any shorter!!) See you at the Church!

Debb (and Art Anderson) Thanks for the pic too ! !

Hope things go better for ya around church show time. Sounds like a rowdy crowd there at the Zoo show. You usually don't see folks acting like that at Arlo shows...

It's already hard enough to perform folk music, ya' know, with lights shinin' in your eyes, microphones plugged in, wires runnin' all over the place.....especially hard I guess performing at a zoo where they apparently forgot to lock all the cages!
And welcome Debb (and Art)!

I am still uncertain about going up to the Church in October. I told a particular person last Friday night that I was not going to attend under some economical circumstances, that is not the case. I was not being honest with that person, its something else that is bugging me. I don't wish to discuss it its personal

I hope things get better for you

I hope this is not some kinda right wing republican conspiracy. I mean making people go to the zoo to see folksinging hippies?!
I remember the days when you could see them on streetcorners, in bars, folk clubs and various concert venues.

If it were some kind of right wing republican conspiracy, you'd have to go to Cuba to see them.

What is up with this new web site? I clicked on something and I think I may have brought down the internet (or at least my little corner of it).

I must be getting old. I'm so out of it I feel like I should be running on the republican ticket or something. Just kiddin', I'll never be that old.

OK, I'm going to press, "Submit," now. If the planes go into the buildings, I apologize in advance.

Oh, BTW, thanks for uploading the video from the concert. I wish I could have been there. Arlo, How about doing one in the SF zoo? We're finally members again, and the tigers haven't been fed since Christmas. Oh, that's right, they got that keeper's arm a few months ago. But that was probably stringy, not much more than an appetizer. If I show up they could probably last another six months.

Mark
