I've been a member of the Guthrie Center for 3 years and for some reason, I never get advance notices!!! :( I've mentioned it to George. Just like when the notices went out about the tickets for the fall revival ... I never got one!! I feel like the forgotten one!! :?

I feel your pain Cyndy. I too am a member, yet have not received one piece of mail. I spoke with George about three weeks ago and he said all was corrected and he would put a copy of the current RBR in the mail to me that day. Still nothing, but I go to my mailbox with high hopes every day when I get home.

Well -- I spoke with George yesterday and he told me that the Guthrie Center NEVER sends out advance tickets for anyting other than the shows at the Church! However, I didn't get any advance notice of this October shows!! I learned (from here) that the tickets were on sale so I called and got lucky -- I wanted them for Saturday because I had other plans for Sunday ... but I changed my plans and got 4 tickets for Sunday -- which was all that was left!! Hope you get your copy of RBR soon or I think I'd call George again!! I stay confused :?

I have read on here in the past that it's Harold's company that sends out the postcards for the Carnegie show... and only to those within 60 miles of NYC. That might explain a lot... or not.

We have been working on a new web-based system so that everyone can update their own info. Hasn't happened yet. Meanwhile anyone with problems can write or call T-Shirt Cathy in the Sebastian office. She can update your address info and make sure you get everything.

There is a very large mailing list for members and non-members alike, and advance warning for concerts is determined by the promoters of the events. We have little control over events as promoters determine for themselves whether to use our info or not and in what way they use it. We do not and never have given your personal address info to anyone (policy), so warnings come from our office, even though it's the promoters who use the service... :)
