I just bought Running Down the Road- great album!!! Plus- it came with a free guitar pick, which is exactly what I needed (I seem to have a bad habit of loosing picks, but I'll be extra careful with this one, especially since it says "Arlo Guthrie" on it and is one I DON'T want to loose :) ).

I see, on CDBaby, that many artists are contributing all the profits on sales of one or another of their albums to Hurricane Katrina Relief. I didn't go through the entire list, but I did catch Arlo's designation of "Outlasting the Blues" - an excellent choice... Which Side... Epilogue... Golden River... Underground... Drowning Man... (sigh............)

I am the pick losing champion lol. Once in the 70's I bought a bag of picks that was supposed to be a lifetime supply of 10,000 guitar picks. The next day I promptly lost the whole back. Months later my mom was finding picks stuck in the carpet lol. I'd love to get one of those Arlo picks. Hope he sells some at the upcoming shows...

I am fairly new at posting, so I am not sure how to quote, but I will try. Anyway, I just loved how you described Mystic Journey, it is one of my favorite albums of Arlo's, (and that is saying alot, since I love them all. Definately one worth getting!
