I don't know if Dan Fogelberg is considered a folksinger or not, but I always kind of liked him, and we were talking about him at work lately. You see, it was just last summer that we received a rush decorative print order from his wife, of a photo of a sailboat (The heat's gotten to me and I can't remember it's name, but I think it was MALABAR) which she wanted to give to him for his birthday. I printed it and we sent it off with great care.....and soon after it was announced that he had cancer. Never heard anything else till we were talking about him this past week, when my co-worker reminded me about him and I looked up Dan's website (http://danfogelberg.com/news.html), and read a post from almost a year ago which said he'd been diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer. So he's been on my mind and I've been really wondering how he was. Well, a little bird named Linda just happened to send me a link this afternoon. Some news has finally been posted on Dan's website. He's gone through a lot, but he's doing OK! He is sure that that is at least in part because he has been the recipient of many wonderful prayers, good wishes, and vibes. (Where have we heard that before?). He also made of point of stressing that men shouldn't be wimps and should go get their check-ups, and hopefully avoid what he's gone through!

Had no idea he was so ill. I hadn't heard about him in along time. Glad he's doing better. I think he is considered to be folk...
