After hearing it on one of the University of Hartford's folk shows on WWUH radio, I had to pick up Richard Shindell's version of Pete Seeger's tune, "Waist Deep In The Big Muddy" (on Shindell's "Vuelta" CD). He does the tune much justice. Pete's song about the folly of following a fool of a leader, sadly, still holds true, especially in these times.

The rest of the album is pretty darned good, too. All original stuff with the exception of "Big Muddy". Richard Shindell's one heck of a guitar player and song writer with one heck of a voice.
