Festival Express opened here this week. John and I saw it yesterday. Talk about deja vu!! I was 16 again. What can I say. Gerry and The Dead, Janis , The Band WooooHooooo!!!!!!! Hard to believe Janis has been gone so long. And Gerry. One complaint, it was too short!!!!!!! Woodstock is still my favourite of course, but it sure was great to see new footage.

It happens out in the country, less than half an hour drive from where I live, every Dec 27th til New Years Day. People come from all over the world. Read about it at woodfordfolkfestival.com

i just rented that from Blockbuster, it was pretty interesting to watch. the promoter kind of creeped me out a bit, though. i'll forgive him because he had a really great idea.
