Ahhh...what can you say, Happy Birthday Bob!
I remember(not too long ago) being 19 years old myself, and thinking it was really something that Bob Dylan just hit the ripe old age of 35! It affected me at the time in some way. Now, at 44, 60 don't seem to old!
Besides just loving Bob's music, I do enjoy and respect how he has kept his personal life as much to himself as he could....because it seems to be what he wants.Bob let's the music do the talking. I love the way in the "early days" how he would handle questions from dunderhead reporters. Image
But, over the years I have it figured out that this guy must be at least part female....because even though I love the guy, I don't understand him half the time! Image But that's of course just from the male perspective!

It makes me shudder to think what the last 40 years would have been like without Bob Dylan's music.

I especially liked this article from a Pitsburgh newspaper:
"60 reasons to be ... tangled up in Bob"
A look at the legendary refrains of Dylan, on the occasion of his 60th birthday

Happy birthday, Bob Dylan!!

He's so brilliant. I saw him in concert in the summer of '99 and he was simply remarkable.

Truly one of the greatest legends the nation has ever embraced.

Rock on, Bob...best wishes!

Bob then contributes to the happiness of mooses, gooses and clams! I mean it's the least he coulda done for the Guthrie clan!
