Have been listening all week to Aaron Copland's music and taped interviews on WETA (a public radio station in the DC area). The Library of Congress is doing a tribute this week celebrating Copland's music. Naturally Martha Graham has been mentioned several times. About 25 minutes ago Mary Cliff (she has the Sat night Traditions show) was talking about the Copland music and Martha Graham and went on to elaborate about Marjorie Guthrie being a member of the troupe. Talked about how she had come back to the LOC years later to revisit the room where she had danced. Arlo and Woody were also mentioned in the segment. Perked up my day here at work.

Mary Cliff repeated the segment about Marjorie Guthrie on her Saturday night "Traditions" radio show and followed it with Arlo's "Ring Around The Rosy Rag".
