The New Vaudeville Band did Winchester Cathedral. You were just a youngin' when that came out in '66, I was graduating high school and getting crazy.

I thought the New Vaudeville Band did it. I remember it was all over the place when it came out. But now you never hear it on the radio anymore...

And I'd been singing that song since the first post--amazing how brain didn't connect with fingers. In fact, when I saw your post an early Jefferson Airplane song came to mind and stuck for the rest of the day.

this isn't a remake but the M*A*S*H theme always makes me think of the room 222 theme for some reason
