Forgive me if this has been posted somewhere. I'm behind. I'm so behind that I only this week got to the December 19 issue of the New Yorker. I haven't finished it yet, either. But in violation of all known copyright laws I had to post this picture for anyone who hasn't seen it.

I left it large on purpose for anyone who might want to download it. I'm using the band's space so it won't be up forever. A couple of weeks, probably. But isn't it great?

Just got my copy of "Isn't This a Time" and stuck it straightaway into the machine. It all came back to me as an audience member, and more. How can I say, it is beautiful, just beautiful. So are you Arlo, and your beautiful family that extends in all directions. Harold, so full of grace, and of course Pete and everyone else. I am so proud to be somehow a part of the extended family, and I thank you for the opportunity to "remember who we are," and to honor our elders. Bless you all, and Harold, wherever he is.

I ordered it too and I was wondering if anyone had any idea how long it might take to get to NJ. I'm also keeping an eye out for the mailman.

Well ... on Friday I received the video, "Isn't This A Time". I watched it last evening. I have never been to a Carnegie show but now I see I need to go to one. The video was superb! :D Is was very exciting to see The Weavers - all of those people 80+ in years 'givin' it all they got'!! Ronnie Gilbert really belted out a few songs -- she was GREAT!! Pete was GREAT!! :D Lots of people's grandchildren (Arlo's included) and Nora at the end when EVERYONE sang, Goodnight Irene. Arlo - you looked SO proud to be there with your family ... I can only imagine how you must have felt -- your face told it all. What an evening --- so many people paying tribute to Harold -- it was incredible. The whole event just moved me more than I can say. Thanks, Arlo for producing this magnificent tribute to a wonderful man. :D
