Artie Traum passed away Sunday July 20 after a long battle with cancer. He was a brilliant guitarist; he toured nationally for Taylor Guitars and performed in workshops. I saw him locally at a guitar workshop in March.

Wow. Sad news. I just ran sound for him and his brother Happy a few months ago at our coffeehouse. R.I.P. Artie.

Oh, wow! That is sad news! I saw him and Happy years ago, and was so impressed with his guitar-playing. He was great!

I have a number of ancient Guitar instruction books by both him and his brother that are always fun to pull out and finger around with. Sorry to hear that!

Artie was an extremely under-rated guitar picker by most.....he was really a guitar picker's guitar picker, and he will be missed .....
